Searching for “charity videos”

I have added a “Charity Videos” section to the front page.  I want to have about 10 videos for people to watch.  Video is such a good way to get a message across, although I wonder who created the videos and how much was spent on them.  If you know of any good charity based videos please let me know.  I will update the videos every month.

I found a very good website called – http://www.guidestar.org.uk/ it says GuideStar Uk is ”the first place to look for comprehensive information about every charity – from the largest national charity to the thousands of small charities that are active in every community”.  So I will be using GuideStar to research different charities.

Other site progress:

1) The site now has friendly urls – this will help with SEO
2) Added a popup feature to show content such as video
3) There is now a “Who’s Online” feature

My next step is to add the complain button, and the different blog views.  I am also going to start contacting a few charities to find out if they think this is a good idea or not – I will offer them a profile page, where they can tell us about their charity and why we need/should support them.
