I have asked a few web designers if they would help for free – and all of them said they would, but only if I was a registered charity. I got the feeling that web designers are asked to do free work quite a lot!
Because I am paying for it out my own pocket, I have put in approx £125.00 for my logo to be designed, and I have used 99designs.com. I am looking forward to see what the various graphic designers will come up with.
On another note, the site is coming together well. I still have some important features that I want to add before it goes into the real beta stage – but progress is looking good. Sadly, no one outside my small personal circle has taken much interest in it yet, so I still have no real idea if this site will attract much attention or not.
